Dear Music Enthusiast,
Music is an integral part of all our lives. Whether it be singing in the shower, or sharing a life-long love of music in community settings, to careers in the arts, music is a backdrop for nearly everything we do.
South Western High School Music Department participants are a perfect example:
As you are aware many districts throughout our region are facing devastating budget cuts. In the South Western School District, we are very fortunate to have the unwavering support of our School Board and District Administration. We realize that to maintain this level of excellence in the Music Department, we will need to plan thoughtfully for the future.
This is your opportunity to become a Charter Member of the Legacy Club. Your tax deductible contribution will ensure that the future generations of Mustangs will have the same invaluable musical experiences for years to come. South Western High School Music Department participants are a perfect example:
- The Music Department boasts 320 participants in band, chorus and orchestra … embracing one quarter of the learning population of the school! In fact, 85% of the music department students participate in more than one ensemble.
- Additionally, Music students participate in every varsity sport, take part in dramatic performances, are members of student government organizations and take leadership roles across clubs and activities.
- Many graduates of the South Western High School music program go on to attend some of the top colleges in the nation (Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Temple, Carnegie Mellon, to name a few).
